The essentials at a glance

Contact-only

Online forms collect ordinary contact details only — name, phone, email and a short message. No medical records or clinical intake through this website.

Never sold

We do not sell your personal information and we do not buy mailing lists of our visitors.

No clinical data

This website is not used to build medical charts or collect clinical data. Clinical information is handled separately in the office.

01

Who we are

Rockland Beauty is a physician-led aesthetic practice in New City, New York, directed by Yanina Kotlyar, MD. This website is used to present our services and to receive general inquiries and appointment requests.

We do not collect medical records, health histories, or clinical intake through this website. Online forms are for ordinary contact only — name, phone, email, and a short message about what you would like to discuss. Clinical information, if needed, is handled separately in the office, not through this site.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you choose to contact us or request a visit, you may provide:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • A brief message (for example, what you would like to discuss or a preferred time)
  • Any other details you type into a form or send by email

You can browse the public pages of the site without giving us this information.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider may collect ordinary technical data, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser, device, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring site, date and time of the visit
  • Approximate location based on IP address
  • Cookie and similar identifiers needed for the site to function (see Section 6)

Service providers

We use companies that help us run the website (for example, hosting). They may process limited technical or contact data only as needed to provide their service to us.

If we later add tools such as analytics, online booking, email or text delivery, or online payments, those providers will process data only as needed to run those features. We will update this Policy if our practices change in a material way.

We do not buy mailing lists of our visitors.

03

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Reply to questions and appointment requests
  • Confirm visits and send reminders, if you asked us to
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website
  • Protect the site, our staff, and our visitors
  • Comply with the law

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use this website to build medical charts or to collect clinical data.

04

How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who host the site or otherwise help us operate it, under arrangements that require them to use the data only for their work for us
  • Professional advisors (for example, an accountant or attorney) when needed
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety, or property

We do not share visitor lists with unrelated businesses for their own marketing.

If the practice is sold or transferred, information may pass to the new owner so the business can continue, subject to this Policy and applicable law.

05

Email, phone, and messages

If you give us a phone number or email address, we may use it to answer you and, if you requested a visit, to confirm or remind you of that visit. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can ask us to stop promotional messages at any time by emailing hello@rocklandbeauty.com or using an unsubscribe link where one is provided. We may still contact you about an existing booking if needed.

Do not use website forms or email for emergencies. If you have an emergency, call 911.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use cookies and similar tools that are needed for the site to function, and to remember basic preferences.

We do not currently use the site for advertising cookies or for third-party advertising networks. If we later use analytics or advertising tools, we will update this section.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features may not work as well if you do.

07

Payments

This website does not currently process payments. If we later accept payment online, card details will be handled by a third-party payment processor. We will not store full card numbers on this website, and we will update this Policy if that changes.

08

How long we keep information

We keep contact and inquiry information only as long as we need it to answer you, manage bookings, run the practice, and meet legal or accounting requirements. We then delete or de-identify it in a reasonable way.

09

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information, consistent with New York law (including the SHIELD Act) for businesses that hold private information of New York residents.

No website or internet transmission is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email or public forms if you are not comfortable doing so.

10

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11

Your choices

You may:

  • Skip optional fields on forms
  • Ask us to update or correct the contact details you gave us
  • Ask us to delete inquiry information we are not legally required to keep
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails
  • Control cookies in your browser

To make a request, email hello@rocklandbeauty.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from you.

12

California and other state privacy laws

We are a New York practice. If a state consumer privacy law applies to your request because of where you live, we will handle it as that law requires.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13

Links to other sites

The website may link to maps, social media, or other third-party pages. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before you give them information.

14

Visitors from outside the United States

The practice and this website are based in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

15

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. The current version will always be posted on this page.
